All of the golf courses on this website offer vacationers a wonderful opportunity to swing a club and hit a ball on some of the Best Orange Beach, Gulf Shores, Elberta, Fairhope and Perdido Key, Florida Golf Courses. There are several courses that are located in the in Gulf Shores and the surrounding area. Each of these Golf Courses are excellent for getting away for a half day or a full day of fun. There are a lot of people who choose a morning fishing charter and afternoon golf. No matter what you want to do, we have you covered. Gulf Shores, Alabama Golf Courses
The Wharf Golf Club –
520 Clubhouse Dr. Gulf Shores, Al. 36542, Open Tuesday – Sunday, Tee times, call 251.968.7366 Formerly known as the Gulf Shores Golf Club. The Golf Club of the Wharf offers wonderuful golfing experiences. They have a great course that can be very challenging. There is a club house that is available for everyone. The Wharf Golf Club offers dining and a pro shop. The course has a par of 71. The championship course length is 6,812 yards, blue 6,365 yards, white 5,950 yards and red of 5,362 yards.
Gulf State Park Golf Course –
20115 State Hwy 135, Gulf Shores, Al. 36542, Open Seven Days a week from 7 a.m. to sundown. Call 251.948.7275. This is part of the Alabama Park System and is open to the public. There is a pro shop and a snack bar. There is a 9 hole and an 18 hole course you can play. You may rent clubs, pull carts and there is a senior citizen discount offered to those over 62 years of age.
Kiva Dunes Golf Course –
815 Plantation Dr., Gulf Shores, Al. 36542, 251.540.7000 or toll free 888.833.5482 (tee-kiva), This immaculate 18 hole championship golf course was inspired by Jim “Scrappy” Edgemon and his friend, Jerry Pate of Pensacola, Florida. Jerry Pate is a University of Alabama Graduate and the winner of the 1976 U.S. Open. They have golf lessons offered by Swedish National Champion, Mikki Bjurro and B.G. Campbell. Kiva Dunes has an online Tee Time booking application on their website.
Cotton Creek at Craft Farms –
3840 Cotton Creek Circle, Gulf Shores, Al., 36542. 251.968.7500 or toll free at 800.327.2657. This wonderful 18 hole course was inspired by Arnold Palmer himself. This course is a par 72 championship course. Cotton Creek was recently awarded 4.5 stars by Golf Digest Magazine.
Peninsula Golf and Racquet Club –
20 Peninsula Boulevard, Gulf Shores, Al. 36542. 251.968.8009 or toll free at 800.391.8009. The Peninsula golf course is a 27 hole championship golf course. The public is welcome. Peninsula Golf Course was recently awarded a 4.5 stars by the Golf Digest Magazine.
Orange Beach, Alabama Golf Course
Orange Beach Golf Center and Driving Range –
4700 Easy Street,(off canal rd or hwy 180) Orange Beach, Al., 36561. 251.981.4653 (Golf). This is a 9 hole, par 3 course that is perfect for using irons and practicing short shots and putting. There is also a driving range. The driving range is open daily from 7 am to 9 pm. The golf course and pro shop is open from 7 am to 6 pm daily. They even have specials on Tuesdays where you can play 18 holes for the price of 9 holes.
Elberta and Foley, Alabama Golf Courses
Soldiers Creek Golf Course –
County Road 95 South of US 98, Elberta, Al. 36530. 1.800.807.8915 or local 251.986.8633 for Tee Times. Soldiers Creek Golf Course is a breathtaking 18 hole course. The greens are tif eagle turf which was supplied by Southern Turf Nurseries and Woerner Turf. They layout of this course romes through hills, lakes and nature trails. There is a “Class A” Motor Coach Resort on site.
Glenlakes Golf Club and Course –
9530 Clubhouse Dr., Foley, Al. 36535. 251.955.1220 for Tee Times. This spectacular course is located just east of Foley, Alabama on County Road 20. It offers incredible value with 27 holes of unforgettable golf. The 18 holes links style Vista Dunes and a 9 hole resort style lakes course that is second to none. Glenlakes offers two courses to choose from. They have a clubhouse, golf shop, dining room, lounge and social room with a fireplace to relax after a long game of golf.
Perdido Key, Florida Golf Courses
Lost Key Golf Club and Course –

This is an Arnold Palmer signature golf course located just minutes away from the Alabama Gulf Coast city of Orange Beach. This is a part of the WCI Communities that offers Golf, Marina, Real Estate Rentals and more. The course was re-designed by Arnold Palmer in 2006 and is a par 71 championship course. They have a new golf clubhouse, restaurant and bar with both indoor and outdoor seating. They have wonderful views of the golf course.
Perdido Bay Golf Club and Course –
1 Doug Ford Dr., Perdido Key, Fl. 32507 (Cross the Intracoastal Bridge, go just past the Winn Dixie Shopping Center on the Beach highway in the Innerarity Point Community of Perdido Key) Its on the left. Tee Times can be made by calling 850.492.1223 or toll free at 877.497.1223. This is one of the best “New” public courses says Golf Digest. The Perdido Bay Golf Club is a wonderful golf course that has hosted Jack Nicklaus, Payne Stewart, Tom Kite and Curtis Strange to name a few. They even have online booking.
